The Fountain
Fountain Hills’ most iconic attraction is its towering man-made fountain, recognized as one of the tallest in the world. The fountain is a focal point for the community and attracts thousands of visitors every year. Robert McCulloch, the founder of Fountain Hills, commissioned the fountain’s construction in 1970, a year before he reconstructed the London Bridge in Lake Havasu City. The fountain’s water sprays for around fifteen minutes every hour on the hour and originates from a concrete water lily sculpture at the center of a vast man-made lake.
